BC Recommends: Wallace Collection, Kensington Palace, Henry Moore – May/June 2026

In Edition 2 of BC Recommends we’re thrilled to share a few of our favourite ‘What’s on in London’ happenings and hope that you have the opportunity to enjoy these wonderful exhibitions and establishments.

Henry Moore sculpture

We’re highlighting: Churchill at The Wallace Collection, The Last Princesses of Punjab at Kensington Palace and Henry Moore at Kew Gardens – plus a fabulous Michelin Star restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden and an up and coming luxury hotel opening.

London is currently bathed in glorious sunshine making us want to explore our city more than ever. Undoubtedly, it’s the creativity with which we design our experiences that sets them apart and uncovering London’s hidden gems is a sheer joy! We invite our guests on immersive journeys and individually curated private experiences that go far beyond private tours, with each experience being a deeply enriching voyage of discovery into historical, cultural and iconic London and beyond, always personally hosted and delivered with style.

Winston Churchill painting a landscape

Winston Churchill – The Painter – At The Wallace Collection
Saturday 23 May – Sunday 29 November 2026

We’re thrilled that Sir Winston Churchill’s paintings are finally being showcased in London at this, the first major retrospective of his paintings, since his death. We’ll be inviting our guests to visit the exhibition in private with an exclusive pre-opening tour, as part of our private Churchill experiences. This will be a wonderful opportunity to hear rare insights from an expert curator as well as enjoying the works close up without the crowds.

In Churchill’s own words:

“Happy are the painters, for they shall not be lonely. Light and colour, peace and hope, will keep them company to the end.”

The exhibition brings together more than 50 of his works with more than half from private collections, rarely accessible to the public.

Henry Moore sculpture

The genius of Henry Moore is showcased in the perfect setting of Kew Gardens this year. It’s impossible not to be moved by the forms that he created and the emotions they evoke. Much like our experiences, each sculpture speaks to the heart of the viewer and as you move around these beautiful organic forms they take on multiple meanings, revealing new dimensions that seemingly transcend time and space. The boundaries of form are explored in ways that open up ones perception and placing them in nature, as Moore intended, creates an immersive experience of true beauty.

Henry Moore is one of Britain’s most renowned artists and this will be the largest ever presentation of his outdoor works. A must see!

Why not combine a tour of his work at Kew Gardens with a horticultural walk through the gardens with one of our experts, concluding with a visit to beautiful Kew Palace. Nothing beats a day of nature, art and history! This is such a unique way to experience British history and culture.

The Last Princesses of Punjab at Kensington Palace – On now until the 8th of November 2026

We love strong rebellious women who shake up the establishment, and with that in mind it’s great to see inspirational stories such as this one being revealed at long last.

Magnificent Kensington Palace is the regal setting for an exhibition uncovering the story of Punjabi princess and suffragette icon, Sophia Duleep Singh and the women who shaped her extraordinary life.

Each woman represented in this exhibition expressed womanhood, power, and royalty in different ways becoming powerful change makers in their own right. With Queen Victoria as their godmother their lives made waves in high society circles impacting the Victorian the status quo.

The Waldorf Astoria – London Admiralty Arch – Opening soon!

Arguably the most anticipated luxury hotel opening of 2026, iconic Admiralty Arch has been reborn as a Waldorf Astoria hotel, following in the footsteps of the nearby Raffles OWO in transforming an historic landmark into an opulent haven for discerning travellers.

The Mall leading to Buckingham Palace

Expect breathtaking sweeping views of The Mall towards Buckingham Palace on one side, and Trafalgar Square on the other, Michelin star dining by Clare Smyth and service to match. Will this property be the new benchmark for luxury hotels?

We’re excited to visit and experience the excellence in person. It certainly is an awe inspiring London address dripping with prestige and the promise of a truly elevated luxury travel experience.

We’re already at the rooftop all-day cafe in spirit and with its Churchill and Ian Fleming connections it is sure to be the ideal oasis for Beyond Curated guests.

The Frog restaurant

FROG by Adam Handling – “British Food Inspired By London”

Whilst this is not a new restaurant opening we had to give a shout out to this fabulous Michelin Star gem as its ethos aligns so beautifully with Beyond Curated. Linda recently dined here and was ecstatic about the experience. With the emphasis on celebrating British produce, London in particular as inspiration, the dishes not only impress with their meaningfully theatrical presentation but thoroughly delight with their sheer deliciousness. Service is immaculate and sincere and Adam’s passion is clearly reflected through his team which delivered a truly memorable experience.
